Thousands of teenagers in Jakarta suffering from venereal disease allegedly due to the rampant prostitution, changes in social patterns and lack of sex education.

Overall, he said, the number of people with venereal diseases in Jakarta, totaling 9060 people, with details of 5051 people are women and the rest men. Of the total number of such patients, 3.007 of whom are aged between 14 and 24 years.
